Joseph Crowley

My name is Joseph Crowley, and I’m a second-year junior pursuing an AYA Literature licensure at Franciscan University.

As a kid, I struggled with reading and writing. I was below my reading level and incapable of writing anything. Then I came across a good tutor in middle school and my literacy started improving. I now consider myself an excellent writer with a newfound appreciation for classic literature. As a teacher, I want to be like my former tutor. I want to invigorate a passion for literature into my students and show them how the classics can relate to their lives and the modern day. I plan to forge their writing skills and aid my students in their future employment. This is my goal as an educator.
